In doing some research, I found out that there are a new company (3 yrs. old) and I was told that Continental has turned over the horizontal drilling in Carter County, Oklahoma to them. I do have mineral interests in Carter County and I want to make sure this information is correct. Any remarks would be appreciated. They are wanting leases for two sections I have. Thank you.
Hi Judy. Yes Camino is a newer Company that is made up of long time oil & gas folks. The only time that Continental will turn operations over is if they are the minority owner of interests in a unit. Continental is the most active operator in Oklahoma. I have dealt with both many times. The provisions of the lease are the most important issues.
