I noticed on the TRRC website that a dry hole had been drilled on the land my family has mineral interests in. We have approximately 960 acres among us and I understand that the rights were assigned to Shell. I’m a little confused because I haven’t seen that Shell has taken out a permit for the land. Is it possible the dry hole was from years past when we had other leases? I have been struggling with the TRRC website trying to determine when a dry well was drilled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
