I purchased mineral rights from DAKOTA OIL & GAS in Ward County in 2009 on Ebay. I have gone back to check on it and can’t find enough information about this company. I think I’ve been scammed but would like to know if anyone can help me at least try to find out if it’s real.
Did you record a deed in the Ward County recorder’s office? Did you receive a deed from Dakota Oil and Gas? If you have a deed, what does it say? What is the legal description of the minerals you purchased Township, Range and Section? Did you check to see if Dakota Oil and Gas is registered with the secretary of state in ND? There are many O&G companies with similar names, was it LLC, LLP or some other suffix attached to the name?
