I purchased mineral rights from DAKOTA OIL & GAS in Ward County in 2009 on Ebay. I have gone back to check on it and cant find enough information about this company. I think I've been scammed but would like to know if anyone can help me at least try to find out if its real.
Did you record a deed in the Ward county recorders office? Did you receive a deed from Dakota Oil and Gas? If you have a deed, what does it say? What is the legal description of the minerals you purchased Township , Range and Section? Did you check to see if Dakota Oil and Gas is registered with the secretary of state in ND? There are many O&G companies with similar names, was it LLC, LLP or some other suffix attached to the name?
