My Family holds leased rights to 171 acres at the clinton airport, precisely 7-12N-16W and i have received an offer to sell rights at what seems to be a nice 4500 from Morning Star Energy. I am looking for any intel regarding nearby activity, or basically any good knowledge available on the state of affairs in that area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is quite active leasing in that section, most likely for horizontal drilling in the Cherokee to come.
Active rig two miles to the west by Mach Natural Resources. Arnold Oil properties drilling in 13N-16W.
If you do not need to sell, then leasing and waiting for horizontal wells might be the other option. Or sell some and keep some, but ask for more. Most buyers intend to make a nice profit off of their purchases.
