We own mineral rights in Sections 27 and 22 of Township 17N; Range 19W; in Dewey County. We expect Harding & Shelton to drill in 27 soon, if not already. Anyone see activity there? (We live in Texas.)
I checked Corporation Com web site for a permit in both sections. Nothing yet. I have been maping new well when I see intent to drill and have not marked any since I started checking. 16 north has lot of activity now. When does your lease expire. Larry

I'm not sure if you are still looking for information in this area or not, but there was a well spud on 2/16/12 in 31-17N-19W and Corporation Commission ordered the operator to pay $1,200 for 3/16th, $1,000 for 1/5th and $400 for 1/4th for the leases. If you would like any more information on the area let me know.
I hold interests in Sections 33+34 of 17n-16w; any indication of activity, and if so, by what companies and under what terms?

Ron: I hold interests in Sections 33+34 of 17n-16w and am novice when it comes to this type of business, with no reference points as to how to establish what's a fair and reasonable offer etc. That said, I'm learning quickly.
Question: You obviously have some URL/links/sites that you go to for information and data gathering to assess activity, permits etc. Can you post those and share with the group? Also, any helpful hints.

This is what they were ordered to pay at the Pooling in 17n-16w that I could find.
35- $1000 for 3/16th, $500 for 1/5th, no cash and 1/4th

Thank you for the above info re. my sections 33+34 of 17n-16w. Unfortunately, this is too new to me to know if i'm reading it correctly. Given my section locations, appears they're drilling around me (section 36, for example) but not on my sections, is that correct? I'm being offered $750/acre and 3/16's and 3 yr term: Based on what you see/know, is this fair/reasonable? Would be greatly appreciated if you could give me a call to discuss; i'll friend you momentarily.
