What does “RESPONDENTS LISTED FOR CURATIVE PURPOSES ONLY” mean on a pooling order in Caddo co. We have been getting notice of pooling for over a year now and I still don’t think they have the answer yet. Thanks Ferrell Fletcher
It means that something is not quite right with your title and they need something in order to clear it up. Contact the attorney listed on the order and ask for a copy of the paragraph from the title opinion pertaining to your ownership and ask what they need to clear it up. Might be simple or might be needing probate documents. Be sure and do it quickly.
If a probate is needed, you may want to get started early so that the personal representative has authority to make an election under the eventual pooling order.
