Has anyone received a settlement from this lawsuit for a well that is or was producing in Dewey County by Devon?
I did, but it isn’t for one well. It was a class action suit against Devon for, shall I say, inappropriate conduct period.
We got a small check for that settlement for a Devon well that we participated in. We also had a producing well - Devon - during the time period in question also in Dewey County. I just wondered if anyone had received a settlement from this class action suit yet for mineral owners.
Linda, We got about $3,800 from Cowan v. Devon Energy Settlement, 22-cv-00220-JAR (OK-Eastern) in July.
We also received checks from this Devon settlement (wells in Canadian County). One check was in my father’s name, who has been deceased for 10 years, which suggests the period of time in the lawsuit goes back a while.
