Country Roads

We were approached to sell our mineral rights in the Lincoln district of mannington West Virginia. The offer was for $60,000 for 20 acres. And everything I’m reading it says that Elise is a better way to go. However this is a lot of money. Can somebody tell me if it would be advantageous to wait until the utility companies make an offer or to go ahead and sell to country roads.

Reach out to other groups: three rivers, AMP (Appalachian Mineral Partners) etc. Make them work against each other to get the best price. 3k/ac is low. Good Luck.

I would suggest not to sell but if you really need to Diversify, I agree with WVOGM. $3k per net mineral acre is too low.
