How long does it typically take to hear back on a lease counter offer? Does the company always respond one way or another? I am not in that big of a hurry but I do want to know so that I can counter the 2nd choice company should it come to that. TIA
There is no set time to expect a counteroffer.
Whether you will get any counter offers depends upon the location. If there is only one operator in a lower economic area, you may not get another offer. If there is high interest and other companies want in on the well, then you may get another offer or more.
