We’ve been getting paid on a well in Williams County for about 10 years with it producing only about 200 BBL’s a month. But yet the pad, which Services only that well, has eight huge tank batteries on it. How do I know it’s not producing more or they are simply letting it trickle to hold the lease?
If you want to share the well name and the section, township and range, I can look up the historical production. Wells decline naturally over time, so the early days probably needed that many tanks.
153N99W section 20. SC Foster. It has never produced enough to warrant six tank batteries. Wells around it have produced much much more.
That section has multiple horizontal wells on it. Crazy Man Creek field. Continental Resources Jefferson wells 17/20.
SC-Foster 153-99-2932H-1 has a surface location in 20 but goes south into section 32. Was Hess, but they were just bought by Chevron, I see permits for three additional wells that would go into 29 and 32 like the first Foster. Would need that many tanks.
I’m aware of all this, but thank you for your research and reply. SC Foster has been a “trickle” for at least 12 years. Ugh.
