I have called and emailed Contango several times since Jan. Last week I said I was going to get them audited. I finally got a call, but she didn’t know why things don’t add up on my 1099 tax. Then she said, they were really backed up and I should use what is on the 1099 for my taxes. Is anyone else having problems with Contago? Why can’t they call a person back?
Not relevant to Contango specifically, but a 1099 usually reports total revenue, before production taxes. Your checks would have been after taxes withheld. The check stubs should have those amounts on them.
