Specific to ND and McKenzie County, I am wondering how long wells stay on the confidential status list and once they do come off, where can I find their production? Thanks!

I believe that confidential wells remain on confidential status for 6 months after completion. I normally go to the Bakken Shale Discussion website where it is listed after it goes off confidential status. You could possibly locate the production information on the ND Industrial Commission website.
Some times The production is less than it starts out? or more depends on what the Oil Co. wants to show??

The oil company must report actual production to the various state agencies upon penalty of perjury (in most cases).
This is contrasted with the parabolic decline curves for conventional exploration.
