Confidential status of drilling and of monthly production

I have a lease for mineral rights, and the company has posted the "Initial Study - Mitigated Negative Declaration" and a " Notice of Completion" has been signed by the state Environmental scientist. That seems good so far, however I found that the they were granted a "Confidential status that includes with holding drilling depth and monthly production for up to two years" As the mineral right owner is there a way I can get this information ? Will the "permit to dill" show up on the states monthly reports ?

Thank you

Most likely, they aren't trying to keep it a secret from you. They are trying to tight-hole the information from other operators. This could be good news for you. They have something good if they are keeping it from everyone else.

With that said, unless your lease specifically states that they are to deliver this information to the Lessor, you probably aren't going to get your hands on it. But, I believe the drilling permit should be posted.

Thank you Tom
