3 months ago my royalty checks from Comstock stopped. When I inquired, they told me I had been over paid and they are going to recoup the overpayment. They also told me they changed the division order to a less amount. Has this happened to anyone else?
This does occasionally happen in the hurry up to get everyone in pay on a horizontal well. Ask them for the exact equation that they are using to calculate your division order decimal. You want to make sure that your net acres and royalty match theirs. Also ask them for a time frame for the recoupment. It may take weeks to get an answer.

My checks drastically dropped for the last 3 months, but not stopped completely. Curious as to which well you are on.
The other couple of reasons for stoppages can be mechanical difficulty in your well(s) or protection shut ins for frac’ing nearby. That protects current wells from the pressure hit.
