Have an interest in this well by Comstock, Jensen KN 1H. Just showed a completion but I can’t locate the production testing results. Any suggestions?
Comstock filed a Well Record Only Completion Report on January 27 indicating that drilling was finished last October 1. Another completion report will be filed once the well has been frac’d and the 24-hour production test has been performed.
Completion was reported in October 2025. I contacted Comstock for an estimate on first sales and D/O release. Since then, estimates have been put off up to 6 months. Any idea what they are doing?
The completion report filed in January only reported that drilling was completed on October 1, 2025. Nothing has been filed yet indicating that the well has been frac’d and completed.
There’s a whole industry running on promoting wells, drilling wells, possibly completing wells. Some wells are not suitable for frac. There’s a segment of the oil business that will buy incomplete wells and try and produce them. Some say if it’s less than 40 bbl a day flowing, sell it. And there are buyers.

There could be a tubular shortage coming if not already here. Have to complete best wells first.

Is that shortage a raw materials shortage?
