Cactus Rig 145 began drilling this well yesterday. This well is noteworthy for its planned 17,074-foot lateral.
Hello Alan, After you posted this I checked the permit and it seems it is a much different well than the surrounding wells Comstock and Mitsui have been drilling. Kretzschmar, Olajuwon, and Lipsey are all allocation wells and this one is not a pooled allocation well but rather a Developmental/Allocation Based well not like the others. It covers 2600 acres and even includes acres from the Kretzschmar PP 1H in its table D in its P-16, not to mention the long lateral you mentioned.
