Thanks Alan I too have been monitoring this well but for the life of me can’t figure out how it got so far ahead of mine (Kretzschmar) since it wasn’t even drilled until months after mine say they were done. Still pending on both but for sure this is good news for the area. Next one you will most likely see is that Weaver DK well.
Comstock had drilling problems with the two Kretzschmar wells. The spud date for both wells was 10/27/2025, but drilling wasn’t completed on the PP well until 3/16/2026 and the PBH well was even longer, with drilling completed on 5/2/2026.
The PP well sits almost midway between the Dollie Jones and the Olajuwon wells, so it should have good results if they got the lateral in the proper zone on the third try.
They were both zipper fracked in early August and I observed the Flowback trailer on September 7th and I am not sure how long he had been there on site. I am not sure how long that process takes but I assume for 2 wells several weeks. Also I saw 4 large permanently connected tanks I guess were for water collection since the formation does not produce liquids.
