Don’t know whether anyone here has any dealings with Eagle Oil and Gas in Reeves … but apparently they’ve sold some leases and producing wells to Comstock Resources.
Just a heads up … because I was once under a lease which stipulated that the lessee agreed to notify the lessor if our lease was assigned to someone else. We were assigned away … and neither lessee notified us. We found out years later … after the lease expired.
(The acquirer of our lease was Chesapeake, though … so I feel like we dodged a bullet when they let our lease expire … what with Chesapeake’s reputation.)
