Don’t know whether anyone here has any dealings with Eagle Oil and Gas in Reeves ... but apparently they’ve sold some leases and producing wells to Comstock Resources.
Just a heads up ... because I was once under a lease which stipulated that the lessee agreed to notify the lessor if our lease was assigned to someone else. We were assigned away ... and neither lessee notified us. We found out years later ... after the lease expired.
(The acquirer of our lease was Chesapeake, though ... so I feel like we dodged a bullet when they let our lease expire ... what with Chesapeake’s reputation.)
