Comstock 289-32202 blackburn bw 1h - 289-32203 brown/trueheart bb wells

Can someone provide any updated information on these 2 horizontal gas wells by Comstock. Thanks

It seems Comstock has a shortage of frac crews.

the water lines that had been run down CR 325 for the 3 horizontals have been taken back up. I am on the one to the east of yours so I have been following, and driving by fairly frequently. There are direction signs for a frac crew at the turnoff from CR 325 going to your well and mine that have been there for a while. There is a lot of activity on that road.

Bembo, I was wondering why you would say Comstock has a shortage of fracking crews, will you explain?

We appreciate that update John!

I was told by someone working onsite for Comstock that frac crews were stretched pretty thin. That was about 3 months ago, so circumstances may have changed by now….

the signs along CR 325 for frac crews are gone now. Last weekend I still saw tanker trucks headed toward the one rig still on site, the one for 28932213.

Thanks for the update, we like hearing any information on these 2 wells.

Comstock filed a completion report for the BW Blackburn 1H today:

https://webapps.rrc.state.tx.us/CMPL/viewPdfReportFormAction.do?method=cmplG1FormPdf&packetSummaryId=347898

Date of first production was November 5. The CR also states that the well name is being changed to Brown Trueheart W 1H.

Hi John, real nice of you to pass on that information, the link was appreciated. Thank you!

Alan, not John, SORRY!

I wonder how far behind 28932212 and 28932213 will be. I was hoping for less than 8 months from spud, like this one. But Comstock had given me April as an expected completion date.

Our lease is with Mitsui in Leon and Freestone County and what I can say is it has taken time. Eight months from spud in is not what we are seeing here. Once you receive the division order, it is an additional 90 days. The play in Leon County involves super deep wells and we also have been waiting for pipeline connection on the Whitaker Well, which I believe is now done. So lots of factors here.

Mitsui has completed drilling on 4 wells:

Lipsey 1H - Freestone

Lipsey A 2H - Freestone

O Henson 1H - Leon

Whitaker 1H - Leon

None have been frac’d yet. Mitsui is currently filling the gigantic frac lake they built for the two Lipsey wells. As of last Sunday, the lake was 10 feet deep, and it will handle 25 feet. They have two water wells running water into it.

Mitsui is currently drilling two wells:

Baker 1H - Freestone (should be almost done)

JBC Ranch 1H - Leon

Alan, good to know thank you

Any new information on the Hutto TMM well (289-32200)? The GIS map shows it as a shut-in well, but I don’t know how often the map is updated. I would appreciate any information any of y’all might have. Thanks
