I am involved on an oil/gas well in Garfield County OK. The completion is on file with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and states a date of completion. During a return call today from the company involved, a person stated that this well is not completed yet. Now I am really confused. Help me understand how this is. Got off of the phone with more questions than I went in with.

I would post this on the Garfield County forum listing well name, along with the section, township, and range.

Check again. You may have picked up the date that the completion permit was approved. If the well is to be fracked, it may take months to complete. There may also be a well completion status report filed periodically.
