Received notification that Chevron wants to commingle oil and gas production, on the surface, into a common tank battery. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of doing this. I have the ability to object to this being approved just don’t know why or why not to object. Appreciate any insight that can be provided.
Commingling on the surface is a very common practice. It allows the production stream of liquids to be collected and then separated out for transport or sales.
