I just received my first O & G Royalty Statement from Whiting Oil. Previous statements were from Kodiak. In the code boxes they list the letters "CN" and "P". Nothing in the legend to tell me what these stand for. I think the "CN" has to do with an adjustment for royalties paid for oil in a previous month and maybe the "P" would be for a gas adjustment?
If there is anyone that is familiar with Whiting statements that could help I would appreciate it.
