Has anyone experienced a cloud on title preventing them from receiving a lease bonus ? We are dealing with that right now and having a difficult time getting the attorney to file a Nunc pro tunc to release the cloud. We hired an attorney - he wrote a demand letter and the other attorney still will not release it even with chain of title . The final decree in question has numerous counties with specific section, townships and ranges listed - the amounts say ALL or UNKNOWN. We have held the minerals since Statehood and have a clear chain of title. I am currently going through the probate in question throughout the counties and something is off. Counties range from McClain, Lincoln, Wagoner, Noble, Bryan, Caddo, Beckham, Logan. We are calling the Attorney Generals Office today to see what can be done.
