I have mineral rights in the east one half of block 16 of the Freestone County School Land Survey, Abstract number 144 Clay County Texas, approximately 80 acres. I am trying to find out if there is any drilling going on for gas wells in this area.

Don't know specifics about abstracts, but a quick check of the Texas Railroad Commission Website shows 119 wells permitted or in process from 01/01/2009 through 4/30/2012, and out of that, 17 wells were permitted or in process for 2012......various operators involved.
