I just received a check from
Drummond et al v.. Range Resources-Midcontinent, LLC et al.
as payment for my share of the net settlement in the Class Action suit above.
As I looked at the wells involved, they are all wells for which Blake sends me small royalty checks.
I am unable to determine the connection between Blake and this lawsuit.
I called the Blake office in OKC, left a voicemail query, but received no reply.
Does anyone have any knowledge about this suit and the settlement? I read online that the settlement for for $87.5 million and was agreed upon May 31 of last year (2013).
Range Resources is headquartered in Ft. Worth.
I cannot find the connection to Blake.
