Last September I received a Division Order from Cheyenne Petroleum dated August 10, 2021 regarding Sections 27 & 34, T1S, R4W for the Brian 27-34 S1H. It is my understanding that DO’s aren’t issued until the well is completed. I recently received an Order from the Corporation Commission stating that Cheyenne’s application for this well had been denied (Cause # 201805666). I am knew at this but it appears to me that Cheyenne drilled the well before final approval from the Commission. What happens now that approval was denied?
If you are referring to order 722097, that was for a 1280 spacing and it was denied for Cheyenne. They used a 560 spacing from Order 707563 and 640 spacing from Order 707354 instead. Nothing to worry about.
