I own 13 acres in Fort Worth with three producing wells leased to Chesapeake. I do not live in Fort Worth and was unaware of the 52 million settlement that happened in May of last year. I haven't received a royalty check since Dec 2015 and the checks for the six months leading up to Dec were very small. Is there any continuing litigation with Chesapeake regarding the accurateness of their payments made to the landowners?.....or can anyone refer me to an oil & gas attorney? Also, has there been any discussions about shutting the wells down until they are profitable?
