In Lawrence county, the drilling pad location is across from the IGC 542 Young well drilled to basement several years ago, it is marked as the well in Northernmost Lawrence County with Rogersville Shale depthshown as 9202'.
Along with Abarta energy, who has 60,000 acres under lease, Chesapeake knows what is down there in the Rogersville Shale formation. And they have their sights set on it. Should be interesting. Look for more players going deep in the Rome Trough in both Lawrence and Johnson counties.
