CHK announced on Feb 9th that they have exited chapter 11bankruptcy. Included in their explanation of details, they indicated that they plan to operate six drilling rigs on average during 2021. According to Yahoo Finance, Chesapeake will be more focused on natural gas in their Marcellus and Haynesville operations and to a lesser degree Eagle Ford Shale oil in the Brazos Valley. Presently, they do not have any rigs operating in Brazos Valley according to their website (which may or may not be up to date). BC
