Just wanted to let people know what happened with us recently. Chesapeake had made lease offer that we accepted back in March. They were suposed to pay 25% of bonus within one month of us signing lease and then the remaining 75% after our current lease expired. They didn't come through with the 25% until after we called numerous times. Long story short, they recently sent letter releasing the lease agreement. In other words, they never filed the lease. They said the 25% was ours to keep just for the trouble and that we are now free to lease with anyone else. Wondered if anyone else has heard of this or had similar experience over last few months.
