Charter Oak spud a Cottage Grove (formation) well here in August of 2025. Does anyone know if it was ever completed as a producing well? I’ve not been contacted nor have a seen a completion report. I find it hard to believe these days that they drilled a “dry hole”. Thanks for any info!
Charter Oak has the SOLO 1-8H. Spud 8-16-25. I checked FracFocus and it has not been frac’d yet. They still have a rig running in the area, and looks like they have a whole set of horizontal wells in a row of sections. They may wait until the program is drilled and then frac them all at the same time to save money.

County records show Charter Oaks was still leasing in October 2025 in 8-12-24. If you have minerals there you should have been contacted by their attorney about intent to drill a well. That’s been my experience over the last year or so.

May I add that 330 ft is very short setback.
Update: Thanks to Martha pointing me to “Frac Focus” site, it does now appear the subject well fraccing was completed in late February, so hopefully production and checks will soon follow for all the royalty owners in that unit!
