Chaparral Energy Interest

On 3-20-14 & 6-6-14 Chaparral Energy filed at the Garfield C.C.H.that they had purchased from several different lease companies a major interest in the following Oil & Gas leases for Garfield county. Has anyone heard anything or know anything about any of these? This looks like a major play to me. We have some unleased minerals in some of these Sections. Thanks in advance!

sections 5,6,7,18,29,31-20N-6W

sections 2,3,4,5,6,8,10,11,12,13,14,17,23,24,25,26,36-20N-7W

sections 1,2,3,4-20N-8W

section 32-21N-6W

sections 19,20,21,26,27,29,35,36-21N-7W

sections 22,23,27,31,32,33,34-21N-8W

Thanks for any info

Glen, Here's Chaparral Website reports - "Unlocking the Mid Continent" Scroll down to maps and click on NOMP, Woodford, etc - http://www.chaparralenergy.com/operations#stacked-plays-that-pay-off

Go to http://www.chaparralenergy.com/investors and click on RBC Presentation which has great maps.

Also, there are other reports on the website.

They leased about everything but got into a bidding war with a couple of guys that used to work for Chesapeake i think they call themselves Red Mountain. They leased all they could. I don’t see how they could drill everything before the leases expire but we will see.

Thank you Martha McMorries & M.D. Rodenberg for your information. Both of you were very helpful.

Big write up in the Daily Oklahoma today. Very impressive and if their CO2 fracking efforts are accurate, they will blow everybody else out of the water. When they go public, I think this is a stock to buy.

Tim, Do you have any news on timing of IPO? Chaparral Energy may use CO2 for enhanced recovery also. General Electric Co (GE) OKC lab is studying both under a $10 billion research program. Might buy GE now, make a little with the dividend and wait for Chaparral's IPO. I'm watching CO2 Solutions Inc, (COSLF) as it is technology company engaged in capture and management of CO2.
