Our Family partnership has recorded mineral ownership in several states and counties. How do I change the Partnership address so interested parties can find us using a Title search? Is there a special document or do I have to update the Assignment or Deed?
The simplest way would be to file an affidavit in the public records for each county indicating what your partnership’s address is on the existing recorded docs within the county records and state that the same firm can now be found at the new address.
