We have mineral rights in Chaves and Lea county NM. I have not actually seen these sites since 1969 or 70. I have planned on a trip to see if anyone has been drilling without permission or whatever. Is this just paranoia at work or is it worth the while to go “check em out”? I guess I am asking just how prevalent is stealing minerals?
You would be wise to check it out. You never know, e.g., someone squatting illegally on your land.
wouldnt NM OCD have knowledge of this?
