My mom received a certified letter from Mahaffey and Gore regarding an Application for Emergency Order. Says the Applicant is Midcon 1 and II Energy Production Relief Sought Modification of Pooling order.
We are not sure what this is. Any information would be appreciated. She has section 36 4 N 5 W Grady county
Did the letter give the Case number for the old pooling order? I could be a simple change of operator name. Your mom probably has mineral acreage in that section. Is she getting paid by Ovintiv? They just sold acreage to Flywheel which is paying under FW Midcon.
Yes is did give a case number. She is getting paid monthly by Continental.
Was it a 2026 case number or an older one?
Yes it is from a pooling order in 2013. It says it is set for court hearing on May 26, 2026
Case 201305648 was with Continental. Order 838167 for the Woodford. They pooled again in 2020-00249 Order 709929 for the Caney, Springer and Sycamore. Just wait and see what the new case order says.
