I have received an Oil & Gas Lease offer - I am in the business in the Greater Houston Texas area but don’t have only worked on Oklahoma and some West Texas properties. They gave me a Primary Term of 5 years with no rentals which all I ever see is 3 years - but I do work in the hottest spots in the country and this isn’t one of them.
Has anyone else received an offer and if so what was the Primary term? I asked for 3/16ths - that is high standard for where I work also and they gave it to me - I thought maybe since I requested and got 3/16th royalty they were making my primary term with no rentals and longer to make up for that.
