My brother and I inherited mineral rights in Sections 18 & 19, T1S, R2W in Carter County. We recently received an offer out of the blue to buy a portion of them by Antelope Oil & Gas LLC out of Oklahoma City. The offer seems too good to be true. Is something happening in this area? I saw a reference to the Bass Law Firm and Tim Dowd in OKC. Does anyone have contact information on them?
Continental Resources has a horizontal play in the area. Most likely, Antelope knows of pending drilling, hence the offer.
