If anyone can help, it would be very appreciated. I have been trying to track down our Mineral RIghts in Wyoming for years now, and I don’t know who to talk to. My Father passed away and left the Mineral RIghts to his children in his will. But we cannot locate anything at all. The only thing we know is that he owned land in Thayne, Wyoming, sold it, but kept the Mineral RIghts. We have been unable to locate even a word about it. Help please!! Thank you! Dana Fortner
Hi Dana. Seems that if you search, or have someone search, the county records in Lincoln County, Wyoming for your father’s name, you should be able to determine the location of his previous property and any remaining mineral rights. I have also had good luck when I have asked a local title company to do a search.
