Cana Woodford Shale (AKA Anadarko Woodford) - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Tim, do you have a link to the Mont Belvieu prices?

Cimarex said in its 2nd Quarter report the cana NGL was tied into the Conway KS price instead of the mont belvieu texas price, there is a huge difference.

Thanks Dan

I have read completion reports and have noticed that the Spud Date can be with 6 or 7 days after the drilling permit is issued.

I don’t see how they can get the rig, the ponds, all the equipment, etc and drill the first 1600 or so feet, all in a week or so.

As the TV show says “HOW DID THEY DO THAT?”

I just read about HENRY HUB prices. It is Chevron owned Sabine Pass Pipeline.

I don’t know the link, but just GOOGLE “HENRY HUB NGL PRICES” and you can find the info.

Daniel, They are out there doing site work and setting up before the permit is even issued. Once they are ready to go the permit is just a formality.

I have been able to find daily pipeline price bulletins on oil but not NGLs

Hey Ron or Michael sorry to keep bugging you both about this but any news on section 34-14n-9w Canadian county. Appreciate it!

Mid-Continent is in the process of bringing BLALOCK 1-34H on line. It is the only well acitivity in your area this year. Mid-Continent has had 3 drilling permits for this well and not SPUD report or COMPLETION report.

Video on fracking.

I inherited some mineral rights from my father. The legal is 29-4S-4E, 28-4S-4E and 27-4S-4E in Johnston County Oklahoma. In the past six years there has been some interest, such as leases but nothing else. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is any current activity going on up there. I would appreciate the info.

XTO ENERGY asked for a WELL LOCATION EXCEPTION on 6/26/2012. I did not see your name on the list of people who should have received this notice.

If you have not changed the name on the mineral deed, you need to contact the county seat, or go there and see who’s name is on the deed.

You will need to contact XTO Energy with the name on the deed, your address, SSN etc. There e-mail address is divorder@xtoenergy.com

XTO ENERGY received a drilling permit for a horizontal well, CAMP CREEK 1-29H on 8/7/2012. The well entry hole will be in the Southwest 1/4 and the bottom hole location will be in the Northwest 1/4.

It takes about 3 months to complete a well and they must start payments within 6 months of the date of first sale or they own you a 12% penalty, call a SATUTORY INTEREST, all the way back to the first date of sale.

Thanks Dan.

I have a producing well that I didn’t know about for 19 months. When I got the first check there were production charges for the first 5 months. The next 5 months they charged me again, but then backed out those charges.

Is it possible to recover the production charges?

If you can pay about $80.00 go to http://www.p2energysolutions.com/tobin-map-data/superbase/well-loca…

and call them. They can give you all the detail you looking for.

Does anybody have capability to see who is majority lease holder on section 34 11 north 9 west?

Let me tell you how you can get this information yourself because you might find that you want more info about leasing in that area plus those details. I believe this is in Canadian County so go to their website below. You will have to register which is no big deal. The information is free…at least for right now. Once you have your ID and password, search for your info by STR and type instrument. Good luck. http://search.cogov.net/okcana/

When I filed for late royalty payments with XTO, I received 12% interest on all late payments all the way back to the first day of sales.

They are always about two behind, so don’t count the most recent two months.

I would appreciate any information on a well drilled in Blaine County, Section 6-14N-11W. Drilling started on it in October 2011 and I think it was completed February 2012. How many months should it take for the well to start producing and when should I look for division orders? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Michael, thanks so much for the information.

Angela, The Birds Nest 1-6H was completed March 11, 2012. Devon has 6 months to start making royalty payments. So I would say your division orders are overdue. I have the same situation on my well in Stephens County it was completed by Continental in February and we are still waiting. Once it goes past 6 months they must pay 12% interest on the part that is more than 2 months past due. I would contact Devon’s Division Order Dept.
