Howdy – We have some interest in our properties in Canadian County Sections 22, 27, 28-T 11N-R 8W; Sec 18-T11N-R 5W. Would anyone on the forum know if there is increased activity here and/or why would we be getting interest now? And what would leased acreage be selling for?
Offers to buy frequently go out when there is the potential for future drilling. You have one horizontal well on the west side of 22/27 with the potential for additional infill wells. 28 is right next to it. Camino and Mach have horizontal drilling permits in the northern part of the township. Common to have offers go out if activity is nearby. Cannot comment on price for leased acres, but companies generally pay for proved production for a certain number of years out. They want to make a profit off of any new wells.
Some leasing is going on in 19-11N-5W, so probably why you are getting interest in 18.
