Anyone actively leasing in Burke County? How about drilling? My lease just expired with the current holder and wondering what activity is out there and what the offers are now.

It looks like most of the recorded leases within 6 miles of you (excluding Canada) have expired or will soon unless extended. I could find no drilling near your section which is on the NE edge of a very large Madison oil field. Most of the acreage near you to the West, and south is HBP by the Madison production.
There are some recent Madison wells in the area, some good some not so good.
The most exciting development is through Cornerstone. They have drilled some Nesson wells horizontally several miles west and southwest of your area. If the Nesson deposition is related structurally to the Madison, and I think it is, your section may be prospective on the NE flank of the Madison.
Follow Cornerstone's activities in the area for advancement toward you.
Cornerstone is active. 161N, 91W, 5th P.M., Section 24 has production (Anderson B-2413-6191). Should be receiving first royalty check sometime this month (May 2014)

Thank you, How did you look that up? Do you have more info? Own wells near by? I think Cornerstone is getting close to drilling there.
Scott, since the well come up as DRL status on a well search, I would guess that Alan got the production from the general statistics sales numbers for the well, which is a fee servince on the NDIC O&G site.
We own mineral rights there; I've been following this one closely. Came off confidential status two weeks ago. Production data is not yet available, but you can search for Cornerstone in the Clayton field. We're anticipating 200-250 bpd.
