I was approached by an energy company interested in purchasing my mineral rights I have in Bryan County Oklahoma 100 acres in Bryan County – 60 acres if section 25 township 007.00S range 008.00E and 40 acres is section 36 township 007.00S range 008.00E. I heard a lot of leases are and have been signed gearing up for a lot of drilling. Can anyone confirm that?

There is a rig onsite and drilling horizontal wells for the Woodford in the northern part of the township. That is why you are getting interest. Continental Resources in sections 3,10,15 and WSR in 2,1 7S-8E and into 6 7S-9E-already online.
If you don’t really need to sell, then you can sit back and see what happens. If you do need to sell, then ask for more than what they are offering. Negotiations start on the low end.
