About two years ago, we signed a three-year mineral rights lease with EOG Resources in the following area. So far, we have not heard of any drilling activity. Does anyone know if there are plans to drill in this area soon?

Although there has been minimal Eagle Ford drilling in this part of the county, there has been a slow movement toward this area by industry.
Laredo Petroleum has drilled a couple of wells near the Speedway to test the Eagle Ford - haven’t seen any results posted yet on those wells, however.
A company called “Juneau” has acquired a large block of acreage (10,000 acres?) in this part of the trend - I believe that I read that part of this position came from EOG.
Basically, it is just sit and wait as operators work towards this area - slow process especially if you are a landowner with a lease waiting on results.
