Bottineau Co, ND Mineral Rights

I have inherited mineral rights in Bottineau County, North Dakota from my grandfather. I believe it’s about 30 acres. I live in Tennessee and have no connection to what is going on with Spearfish. Can someone enlighten me?

Also, I have not leased the land to anyone yet and was curious about the going rate per acre. Any advice on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Here’s a slide from EOG back in 2010. It’s nothing new, but will give you an idea of where the activity is. My understanding is that there are only a handful of Townships with opportunities.
