My family owns a parcel of land on the border between Borden and Garza county we own 100% of the minerals on this property. We are considering selling the land and offering part of the mineral rights as an incentive to the buyer. Can anyone offer advice on how to value these mineral rights? They are non-producing and we have a lease that expires sometime this year. There was considerable production on the property in the 70’s and 80’s but not much since with all of the wells being plugged.
