Block 34, Section 232

Can anyone tell me what current lease offers are for properties in or near Block 34, Section 232? Thanks.

Dear Anita,

I have not heard of any in Ward County, however we had some in Crane County, they were offering $200 bonus, and 25% of the hole. Still talking.

Thank you. Please let me know if you do hear of any lease offers. I have received an offer to buy my mineral interests. Have you heard of other offers to buy mineral interests in Block 34?

If your minerals are under lease and producing, do not get fooled by offer based on multiple of current revenues. There will be a more wells drilled in Wolfcamp in the future in that section.

Thanks. I am trying to find out the terms of any recent leases or sales of mineral interests. Do you know the production levels of the Wolfcamp wells that have been completed in Section 32 and neighboring sections?

Anita,

What Block number?

Clint,

Block 34, Section 232. I appreciate your help.

Anita

Anita,

I am posting some production information for some of the wells in and adjacent to Section 232/Block 34.

Production Data for well 35709 in Section 232:

Production Data for well 35710 in Section 231:

Production Data for well 36869 in Section 228:

Clint,

I can't thank you enough for this very helpful information. Do you think the production Shell Western E & P is experiencing with well 35709 in Section 232 will result in further drilling within the Section, to the benefit of all unencumbered and encumbered mineral interest owners?

Anita

Anita,

Production was started in April 2011 and is still doing quite well on well 35709. I would certainly think a producer could/would drill 6 to 10 more productive wells in Section 232.

Have you heard of anyone commencing drilling in Block 34, Section 232? I have received three expressions of interest in purchasing my mineral interests over the past 6 weeks.

Thank you for your good advice. Have you heard of any new drilling activity?

Clint:

Thank you for your helpful efforts. FYI, the latest offer for my mineral interests was $8,500 per acre.

Anita

Anita,

At this time I see no new activity in Section 232. $8,500 may sound like a lot of money but there are some good wells in Section 232 and surrounding area. I would say your minerals interest is worth 3 to 5 times the amount you have been offered. And if oil was back to $100 per barrel the offers would definitely be more.

JUST MY OPINION

Clint:

Thanks for all your help a few months ago. I continue to receive offers to purchase my mineral interests in Block 34, Section 232. While the mineral interests are now under lease to Shell LP, I have received, as you forecast, increasingly higher bids to purchase my mineral interests and have not ruled out a sale. Do you know of any recent sales of mineral interests in Block 34, Section 232?

Best regards,

Anita

Hi Anita,

Glad you are getting favorable offers on your minerals......just be patient and the 'right number' will finally be presented.

And no, I haven't heard any rumors of sales in the area.....possibly someone else has heard something and will chime in.

BE PATIENT
