Blk 27 Section 29

My story seems to the same as many. We were notified by Patch Energy wanting to buy Mineral rights we didn’t know we inherited. Researched and found there is an Affidavit of Heirship filed with the recorder and an appointment of receiver for royalty interest. The original owner had no children, parents deceased and all 7 siblings deceased. My father was listed on Affidavit of heirship as one of the siblings, now deceased. Wondering if we filed an affidavit of heirship going from deceased father to his children, would that change ownership? Or would we need an attorney? Thanks for any help!

If the interest has already been put in the receivership then you would still need to hire an attorney to get your interest out of the receivership in order for you to have ownership.
