If Continental does not drill this well should I consider selling mineral interest? Thank you!
Do you have a reason to sell? Obviously, the current state of the market is NOT a seller’s market. The days of $20,000 per acre offers are over. To those that sold, your buyers are holding a bunch of high priced minerals that they won’t get their money back on for years. To those that didn’t because someone told them the offers were too low, well, maybe next time.
Personally, I don’t listen to anyone when buying or selling minerals, oil and gas leases or participating in wells. I have numbers in mind and when I get those, buying or selling, I pull the trigger.
