Cecil, given that you are receiving offers by mail, they are the same offers everyone else in your area is getting. In talking with people in Blaine County taking the highest offer may not always be the best choice. Be very aware of language in contracts and the terms that you agree to. Just like a lease in a good area, this will impact you for a long time and you need to be comfortable with your decision. Hindsight is 20/20.
Is Marketable Product rule the correct term that covers the rule that unless agreed upon in the lease that proportional after market enhancement costs can be applied? Thanks again
If a well is being permitted in one section and it hits, pooling occurs in surrounding adjacent sections/townships. That correct?
No guarantee of pooling in the surrounding sections after a great well, but an increased likelihood of leasing and perhaps pooling is probably a better way to put it.
I donât have a check stub in front of me now, but if you check the price your get paid, it is a clue. Closer to $45 sweet, closer to $30 sour. My numbers may not be quite right, but in general, sulfur content makes it sour so you get paid less. It may also depend upon the reservoir.
Recent Sales of Mineral Rights in Blaine and Grady County⌠Donât under price your minerals. The buyers are hot in the areas where earthquakes are not affecting the production and wells donât make much water.
I wouldnât sell any minerals in Blaine County at this time. Continental has hit a couple of really good well in this area recently.
what type of oil is found in Blaine county ? sweet âŚsour or does it vary by area ?
Any news on the BLUE OX 31_30-16N-10W 1HX?
Some of the lower prices âstuffâ are the light liquids. Nothing to do with âsourâ or not. There is simply a glut of it. âLegacyâ oil brings a premium.
T L Shields - can you please explain the column headers in your comment below?
Not sure. My experience has been the more tank batteries (larger the facilities), the greater the productive expectation. But, it is just too early to tell if this signals expectations for a strong well, anticipation of more development or what. I will see what I can find out. Well has not been reported as fraced but itâs probably too early for that. I am surprised it happened so quickly. Please keep me posted. I own 220nma offsetting this so I am sure hoping for a good well. Thank you.

Thanks M Barnes, too soon to get paid, hopefully itâs sweet. think itâs Meramec. Started flowing early April. well is the Mccrary
I noticed that Newfield has apparently just completed their well in 8-18-13 near Canton. Production tanks are set and heater treaters are in place, along with what appears to be a very tall blowout preventer.
Can you tell how many (oil) tank batteries are on location?
There were 4 tanks and 2 heater treaters on Saturday. What does that tell you about production ? They were still bringing in some frac tanks for some reason.
probably 1 or 2 tanks will be for water. depends on well though.

I have some mineral interest in T17N-R13W and T18N-R13W. Anyone had any leasing activity in the area. Iâm not living in OK currently and have not been around Eagle City in a while so not sure what is going on in the oil drilling. Glad I found this discussion. Just read Brown Farm.
