Good morning , I have mineral rights located in converse county , wy . Township 35 North, Range 76 West, 6th P.M. South Half . I am getting letters of a company that is going to do horizontal contraction , barron flats area . Does any one know what this means to me. Thanks !
You might try looking up that company who has told you they plan to drill on the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission web site. (Sorry don’t think I can paste the address in for you - just google it). Then from the menu, choose DATA, then choose, PERMITS (left hand column) then choose COMPANY APDs and look up that particular company. However, be aware that just because they have a permit to drill does not mean they will drill that unit. Only a small percentage of the permitted wells actually get drilled. From there you can click on the Api # and learn a lot more about the permit.
